Cycle Sport Advantage
Thinking of buying a new bike? Servicing and/or upgrading your existing bike? One of your first questions, and not necessarily an easy one, will be where to shop. It can be a challenge because of the multitude of stores that carry bicycles, from specialty retailers, to giant department stores, and backyard garage operations.
Where you buy has everything to do with what you get. Bicycles are shipped in boxes and they must be assembled and tuned. We spend an hour to an hour an a half assembling, tuning, and testing every bike ( at no additional charge to you). There are many types of bicycles, too, and you should not buy until you decide which type is right for you. Minor adjustments are required to ensure the bicycle is the correct size and fit for a safe and enjoyable ride.
For these reasons, and more, we strongly recommend purchasing and/or getting service done on your bike at a quality bicycle store, like ours. We listen to our customers. They rate our selection and service in high regard. Here is why.
Selection
Bicycles, like people, come in different sizes. We offer the widest selection of bicycles and accessories in the area. We'll find the correct frame size and dial in the fit by adjusting the position of the seat, handlebars, brake levers, and shifters to ensure the maximum comfort and safety.
Service
We service what we sell as well as what you buy at other bike shops. Our highly skilled staff has a collective 85 years in the bicycle business. Our professional mechanics attend yearly training summits coordinated by Park Tool. At these sessions, the mechanics get hands-on-training on the newest components from Shimano, Sram, Campagnolo, etc. This knowledge is transferred into the assembly of every bicycle on our sales floor and on the repair of your existing bike. We serviced bicycles that raced and received medals at the Olympics. We'll be happy to assist you with minor adjustments on your new bike, repairs or upgrades to your existing bike, and/or advice on accessories.
